Crianceiras - poemas musicados de Manoel de Barros 1.1

Immerse yourself in the animated and musical poetry of Manoel de Barros, one of Brazil's most original contemporary poets, and experience a world where you can connect more deeply with nature’s essence—trees, fish, and birds.

Crianceiras is an inventive app designed specifically for children fascinated by whimsy and creativity.

This project, which has already manifested as a CD and live performance, has now transitioned into an engaging app filled with animations and interactive features. Within this platform, users will discover ten poems set to music by composer Márcio de Camillo, complemented by stunning illuminations from Martha Barros, the poet's daughter.

The app invites exploration across four distinct areas:

• Clips - Each musical poem is paired with a corresponding video clip. Notable pieces like "Sombra Boa," "Bernardo," and "O Menino e o Rio" are beautifully presented alongside original animations of Martha Barros' illuminations.
• Poesia - A unique notebook section transforms four poems into playful experiences. Here, interactive words conceal surprises—sounds, meanings, and illustrative imagery await discovery.
• Desenhar - For those wishing to express their creativity beyond traditional mediums, this section offers various textures and illuminations inspired by the works of Martha Barros to enhance drawings and imaginative inventions.
• Foto - Capture delightful moments with characters such as Bernardo, Ramela, and Sombra Boa. With just a few clicks, users can snapshot their adventures within the world of Crianceiras.

The Crianceiras app aims to bring to life the poet’s vision articulated in verse: “What I wanted was to make toys with words.”
